Our basketball program offers players looking for a competitive and fun basketball experience.

4th – 8th
COST
- Tryouts: FREE (Pre-registration is strictly required)
- Season Tuition: $400 per player
UNIFORMS
Separate purchase required for all players.
SEASON TIMELINE
- Late October: Tryouts (Pre-registration is strictly required) & Practices begin
- December – February: Regular season league play
- Early March: Playoffs
Commitments & Travel
- Practices: Teams practice 2 to 3 times per week.
- Games: Competitions take place locally on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Travel: Most away games and tournament locations are within a 1-hour drive of New Milford. Specific tournament schedules vary by season.
GET INVOLVED: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We are actively seeking passionate Volunteer Coaches and Program Administrators to help support the league. If you are interested in coaching a team or assisting with behind-the-scenes operations this season, please indicate your interest during player registration or contact us directly via email info@newmilfordhoops.org

Tuesday, October 27
- 4th, 5th, & 6th Grades: 7:00 PM – 8:15 PM
- 7th & 8th Grades: 8:30 PM – 9:45 PM
Thursday, October 29
- 4th, 5th, & 6th Grades: 7:00 PM – 8:15 PM
- 7th & 8th Grades: 8:15 PM – 9:30 PM
Tryout Locations
Sessions will be held at either of the following locations (please check your email for schedule):
- Canterbury School (Fieldhouse): 101 Aspetuck Ave, New Milford, CT 06776
- Sarah Noble Intermediate School: 25 Sunny Valley Rd, New Milford, CT 06776
2026-27 Travel
This registration is for travel basketball tryouts only, and there is no cost to participate.
Please review these critical program requirements:
Pre-Registration: All athletes must be registered online prior to attending tryouts.
No Initial Fee: There is $0 due today. If your child makes the team, the program fee is $400, plus uniform costs.
Contact Info: You must provide a valid parent/guardian email address for each child. Without this, you will not receive tryout results, schedules, or coach communications.
Health Records: Valid medical and health insurance information is strictly required to complete this tryout registration.
