New Milford Basketball Organization mission statment

NMYBO Mission Statment:

The NMYBO (New Milford Youth Basketball Organization) is a non-profit organization providing the opportunity for boys and girls of all levels of ability to experience instructional and competitive basketball in a safe and fun environment while promoting sportsmanship, discipline, and respect.

Our program as grown significantly over the past few years and supports hundreds of youths in the Greater New Milford area. We have an extremely dedicated and talented group of volunteers who provide an excellent program for our kids from kindergarten through 8th grade and high school boys 9th through 12th grade.

The NYMBO has served New Milford for over 30 years on a strictly volunteer and not for profit basis. Our philosophy includes fun, good sportsmanship, skill development and continuance in a coordinated program that starts in kindergarten and continues through high school grades. It serves children interested in playing and developing skills recreationally as well as those who want to continue at the High School level in a more competitive environment. We do not mix boys and girls in game-based leagues and all our coaches, coordinators, and board members are 100% volunteer.
