(3/4 will be used as a make-up date if needed)
No sessions will be held on 2/18
No sessions will be held when schools are closed due to inclement weather. When in question check our website. Also be sure to opt in to receive text messages and email notifications.
If makeup sessions are scheduled they will be posted on the website.
This program promises to deliver a fun introduction to the game of basketball. A special age-appropriate sized basketball and lowered hoops will help to ensure every child's success. From shooting, dribbling, and passing skills, confidence building is the key ingredient in the program. Along with ball handling and shooting skills, children are ready to work on teamwork. Early in the program, skill work with dribbling and passing is stressed. Later, the idea of team play will be developed as teams participate in scrimmages.
PLEASE NOTE: this group may be combined with another, pending participation numbers.
All children should have their own 27.5" basketball
Each child receives their own green/white reversible jersey
Each child receives an NMYBO giveaway and a Participation Medal at the end the season.
